Why OmneDiem?

The supplement aisle is crowded with promises. Here's the case for choosing a small, independent company that helped build the science instead of borrowing it.
Walk down any supplement aisle and you'll see the same thing we do: hundreds of bottles, all confident, all "clinically studied," all promising to be the one. It's a lot like a crowded farmers market where every stall claims to have grown the produce — when most of them bought it that morning from the same wholesaler.
OmneDiem® is the grower, not the reseller. We're a small, independent company in Ann Arbor, Michigan, founded by Cai Berg and Helmut Schmutz — and what follows is the honest case for why that matters when you're choosing what to put in your body.
We didn't follow this category to market. We helped create it.
We dug the well
Our co-founder Helmut Schmutz invented the patented DAO (diamine oxidase) formulation at the heart of our product line. For more than a decade, OmneDiem has helped lead histamine intolerance research and education in the United States.
Backed by real science, not borrowed credibility
It's common in this category for plant- and pea-based products to cite the clinical research built on porcine-sourced DAO — the very category we formulate with. We'd rather build on the studied form than point at someone else's data. Our formulations start from the ingredient forms that actually appear in published, peer-reviewed research. See the science for yourself.
European ingredients, made in America, run by humans
We source high-quality, research-grade ingredients from trusted European suppliers, then manufacture domestically under current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). And because we're a small team in Ann Arbor rather than a faceless conglomerate, there's an actual person on the other end of your questions. Think of us less like a vending machine and more like the family-run shop where they remember your name.
Independent on purpose
OmneDiem is founder-owned, not investor-driven. That's a quieter advantage than it sounds. When a company answers to shareholders, the pressure is always to cut the cost of what's inside the bottle by a few cents at scale. When you answer to the people who actually take your products, quality is something you protect — because your reputation is the whole business.
The cleanest quality standards aren't a marketing line for us — they're the whole reason a small company can stand next to the giants. We use the studied ingredient forms, manufacture clean, and put exactly what the label says into every bottle.
